Significado de la experiencia de la separación conyugal de padres en hijos: el caso de un grupo de adolescentes en la ciudad de Cali

In this work we investigate about the meanings of the separation experience of the parents who had a group of teenagers children between the ages of fifteen and twenty, taking into account the beliefs they have about separation, the meanings they are offered by the people of the micro-contexts (parents, grandparents, uncles and friends) to said rupture, and those that they attribute in terms of losses and profits on a personal, family and social level. The information was obtained from a semi-structured interview that allowed to know in depth the meanings that the young people had, in order to compare it with what was found in the research background and the theoretical framework. The results show that teenagers, despite assuming separation as a normal fact, refer to it as a difficult, complicated and sometimes painful process that not only affects parents but also them and the microcontexts that surround them.En este trabajo se investiga a cerca de los significados de la experiencia de separación de los padres que tuvieron un grupo de hijos adolescentes de edades entre quince a los veinte años, teniendo en cuenta las creencias que ellos tienen acerca de la separación, los significados que les brindan las personas de los micro-contextos (padres, abuelos tíos y amigos) a dicha ruptura, y los que ellos mismos atribuyen en términos de pérdidas y ganancias a nivel personal, familiar y social. La información se obtuvo a partir de una entrevista semiestructurada que permitió conocer a profundidad los significados que los jóvenes tenían, para así compararla con lo encontrado en los antecedentes investigativos y el marco teórico. Los resultados muestran que los adolescentes pese a que asumen la separación como un hecho normal, refieren que es un proceso difícil, complicado y a veces doloroso, que no solo afecta a los padres sino también a ellos y los microcontextos que los rodean
