Geographic Information Systems (GIS) covers a set of tools for capturing, storing, retrieving, transforming and displaying spatial data from real world. Time is a dimension to model the evolution of geographic behavior. The spatio-temporal data formats like XML, KML and GML are used to store this type of behavior in geographic vectors data.
