Background: Sleeping-problems are common among small children and affect the lives of the whole family. Support for the parents is an important part of the Child-Health-Services (CHS). The advices should be evidence-based and equal. Objective: The purpose with this study was to explore how sleep-problems among children are treated by the CHS-nurses in the Uppsala county. Method: A qualitative study with semi-structured interviews were practiced. Nine CHS-nurses were interviewed. The interviews were audio-recorded, transcribed verbatim and analyzed with content analysis. Dorothea Orem's self-care model was chosen as the theoretical framework.
