Lutter pour le territoire, vivre le territoire. Le cas du site d'enfouissement des déchets radioactifs à Bure

International audienceThis paper seeks to define the conditions according to which people structure and develop their relationship to the territory, and to explore the ways people live, " imagine " and practice it. Territory is not a neutral space, but the product of the interaction between space and actors, which models it both in a material and symbolic sense. However, we want to propose a different approach: starting from the analysis of a situation of conflict, we want to consider it as an important moment to study the relationships between territory and actors. Our perspective concerns the reconsideration of the relationship to the territory and the effect that it has on the creation of a collective identity. In particular, conflict and territory are seen as laboratories to understand the effect(s) they might have on social relations.Cette communication cherche à saisir les conditions et les dispositions en fonction desquelles les individus structurent et développent leur relation au territoire et explore les manières dont ils le vivent, l'« imaginent », le pratiquent en lui donnant un sens. Le territoire n'est pas un espace neutre, mais le produit de l'interaction entre l'espace et les individus, lesquels le modèlent au sens matériel et symbolique. Cependant, nous voulons proposer une approche différente : partir de l'analyse d'une situation de conflit pour arriver à considérer celle-ci comme un moment important pour étudier les liens entre territoire et individu. Dans cette perspective, la question soulevée porte aussi sur la reconsidération du lien au territoire et sur l'effet que celui-ci a sur la formation d'une identité collective. Plus particulièrement, le conflit et le territoire sont vus ainsi comme laboratoires pour comprendre leur(s) effet(s) sur les relations sociales
