This study aims to analyze the effect of the number of workers, education level, gender, search channels and types of vacancies on frictional unemployment in Semarang Regency. Based on data from 2017-2018 job fair activities by the Semarang Regency Manpower and Transmigration Office, it is known that there is an excess supply of labor, where there are a number of job vacancies exceeding job seekers, which have an impact on the length of vacancies, resulting in frictional unemployment due to lack of absorption work.
