Following an opportunity for a design competition including both Architecture and Landscape design, that had already been studied during a summer workshop by teachers and students a joint proposal for the competition was drafted. The present re flexion is presented as a case study on the possibilities of research dialog, negotiation and joint enrichment between architecture and landscape design serving a mutual solution to a problem. From this case study the question of research arises: firstly, the opportunity of the project as a research and design space, on, about and in architecture and landscape; secondly on competitions as a space of research and innovation; lastly on the virtues of transdisciplinary team work.
