We are investigating the use of ultrasound in Haptic applications. Initially abrief background of ultrasonic transducers and its characteristics were presented.Then a theoretical research was documented to understand the concepts that govern haptics. This section also discusses the algorithm adopted by various researches to implement haptics in the professional world. Then investigations were made to understand the behavior of ultrasonic transducers and conduct soft-ware simulations to obtain various results. At first simulations were conducted on Field II software.
