Martin Heidegger has become one of the "go-to" philosophers in the world today. His interpretation of phenomenology has spread around the globe, and in some circles his ideas are philosophy, period. Among the pillars sustaining Heideggerian thought is the version of the Greek world that he constructed, of Aristotle in particular. This article offers a concise review of the conception of Antiquity that he set forth in one of his university courses in 1926.
