A quiet revolution is taking place in the Nigerian higher education system. Information Communication Technologies (ICTs), prevailing unemployment, and competition by graduates for limited employment spaces are forcing faculty to rethink the curriculum in most academic disciplines, in terms of content and teaching for functional education and nation building. This paper looks at higher education in Nigeria and the role of academic librarians as partners in promoting skills for entrepreneurial education in Nigeria.
