Aspectos psicosociales en la gestación: el Cuestionario de Evaluación Prenatal

This study tries to adapt and to validate questionnaire PSQ (Lederman, 1996). The questionnaire is destined to evaluate psycho-social aspects of the pregnancy to be able to study and understand better what is the ¿parallel mental gestation ", that could allow to be able to prevent possible conflicts and to prepare the future parents, not to the childbirth but fundamentally to be parents. The sample was composed by 291 women embarrassed with a rank of oscillating age between the 17 and 42 years. The women went to classes of preparation to the childbirth in some centers of the city of Barcelona: 101 in the Hospital of the Vall d'Hebron and the rest (190) in private centers. The results of the factorial analysis confirm six of the propose dimensions, and the coefficient á a better internal consistency. The results showed a greater acceptance of the pregnancy in the women that have his first child. Also greater preoccupation by the own well-being and of the baby was observed, also a smaller acceptance of the pregnancy in the women who attend preparatory sessions for the childbirth in private centers. They discuss the contribution of the instrument to the promotion of the im-plied psycho-social aspects in the pregnancy.Este estudio pretende adaptar y validar el cuestionario PSQ (Lederman, 1996). Se trata de un cuestionario destinado a evaluar aspectos psicosociales del embarazo, para poder estudiar y comprender mejor lo que ha sido llamado ¿ggestacion mental paralela¿h, que podria permitir poder prevenir posibles conflictos y preparar a los futuros padres, no al parto sino fundamentalmente a la parentalidad. La muestra estaba compuesta por 291 mujeres embarazadas con un rango de edad oscilante entre los 17 y los 42 anos. Las mujeres acudian a clases de preparacion al parto en varios centros de la ciudad de Barcelona: 101 en el Hospital de la Vall d¿fHebron y el resto (190) en centros privados. Los resultados del analisis factorial confirman seis de las dimensiones propuestas, y el coeficiente ¿¿ una buena consistencia interna. Los resulta-dos mostraron una mayor aceptacion del embarazo en las primigestas. Tambien se observo mayor preocupacion por el bienestar propio y del bebe, una menor aceptacion del embarazo en las mujeres que asisten a sesiones preparatorias para el parto en centros privados. Se discuten la aportacion del instrumento a la promocion de los aspectos psicosociales implicados en la perinatalidad
