The objective of this work was to make the phenotypic characterization of the remaining natives goat and to determine the profile of the breeding goats from the Countries of Ibimirim and Serra-Talhada/PE-Brazil. The qualitative traits morphologic (hair length, ear length; presence or absence: of horns, beard and wattles; and coat colour) of 6182 females were considered.
