Verschiedene optische Messmethoden werden bei der Untersuchung komplexer Strömungsphänomene eingesetzt. Die Digitale Holographische Particle Image Velocimetry (DHPIV) ermöglicht neuerdings eine zeitaufgelöste volumetrische Bestimmung aller drei Komponenten der Strömungsgeschwindigkeit. Um das Potential der sich rasant entwickelnden digitalen Bilderfassungssysteme auszuschöpfen, wurde im Rahmen der Arbeit diese Messtechnik entscheidend weiterentwickelt. Der Schwerpunkt lag in der Entwicklung neuer Auswertealgorithmen zur DHPIV sowie in der Analyse der diskreten Rekonstruktion, wobei den Anforderungen an den optischen Aufbau und der Methodik der Geschwindigkeitsbestimmung besondere Aufmerksamkeit gewidmet wurde.
