Der Immissionsvorhersage in bebauten Gebieten kommt eine zentrale Bedeutung beim Schutz der Bevölkerung und der Umwelt vor hohen Luftbelastungen zu. Insbesondere im Nahbereich von Gebäuden gestalten sich Immissionsprognosen aufgrund der vorherrschenden komplexen Strömungsfelder jedoch als schwierig. In der vorliegenden Arbeit wurde die Vorhersagegenauigkeit numerischer Simulationen auf der Basis der Reynolds-gemittelten Navier-Stokes Gleichungen im Hinblick auf das Ausbreitungsverhalten gasförmiger Schadstoffe bewertet.
