GeoMemories is a project that aims to digitalize the historical aerial photograph archives of the Aerofototeca Nazionale in Rome. In order to use those photographs in GeoMemories, there is a need to have an application to help with producing better photographs. This study presents different steps of creating this aerial image registration application or what is called GeoImage. GeoImage is a desktop application which is intended to give researchers opportunities to work on aerial historical images easie and more practically.
