This study is a descriptive correlational study to investigate the impact of work environment and mood status on job satisfaction of 113 nurses working at 7 psychiatric wards. A self-reported questionnaire used to collect data and collected data was analyzed on SPSS WIN 16.0. There were significant differences in self realization and nervousness according to gender, and in workload according to gender, marital status, and position. Job satisfaction positively correlated with self realization of work environment and negatively correlated with workload, conflict and nervousness of work environment.
