The Dawning of a global age : globalization and global cities 1600 to 1900

Die Studie beleuchtet Städte als zentrale Orte von Globalisierungsentwicklungen während der Neuzeit (1600 bis 1900). Hauptaufgabe der Studie war die Erstellung eines Analyserasters, anhand dessen vergangene Globalisierungstendenzen betrachtet werden können. So wird ein Einblick in Form und Komplexität der Globalisierung in der Vergangenheit gegeben.This study intends to cast a light on cities as focal points of globalization developments during the period 1600 to 1900.
