Background: Accurate aortic annulus (AoA) sizing is crucial for transcatheter aortic valve implantation planning. Three-dimensional (3D) transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) is a viable alternative to the standard multidetector row computed tomography (MDCT) for such assessment, with few automatic software solutions available.
