Introduction: Perinatal psychiatry is a recent field of psychiatry, developed mainly in the United Kingdom, which was the first country to open mother-child units, aware of the importance of the links between mothers and their child. Today, it is known that the postpartum period is a period at risk of significant psychotic relapse for patients with schizophrenia. In addition, the number of these pregnant patients tends to increase.
