Televisão, Jornalismo e Educação: um estudo sobre o Projeto Televisando

International audienceThis study presents results of a research that investigates the journalist's work in a communication and education project developed by the GRPCOM Institute and RPC TV in partnership with Municipal Secretariats of Education and Institutions of Higher Education. The research is based on the understanding that Journalism, as well as Education, aims at the formation of the individual in society and, therefore, the journalistic doing presupposes an educational doing. In order to understand how journalism works in a communication and education project, the study is based on theories related to Educommunication, journalism and television of the following authors: Soares (2011), Baccega (2009) and Martín-Barbero (2014 ). The information collected was systematized based on the semi-structured interviews conducted with journalists and editors-in-chief of regional television offices in State of Paraná (Brazil). Among the results it is highlighted that the involvement of journalists in television is associated with new experiences and the approach to the school; the report of the project is considered "special" to compose a "series", within a thematic that varies with each edition and determined time; the reports are made according to the "scale of the day" and not by affinity and personal interest; for journalists the challenge of TV these days is to make journalism more enjoyable - breaking with the traditional patterns of news - dealing with time and with the competition that social media represent.Este artigo apresenta resultados de uma pesquisa que investiga a atuação do jornalista no Televisando, projeto de comunicação e educação desenvolvido pelo Instituto GRPCOM e RPC TV em parceria com Secretarias Municipais da Educação e Instituições de Ensino Superior. O estudo está calcado no entendimento que o Jornalismo, assim como a Educação, visa à formação do indivíduo em sociedade e, que, portanto, o fazer jornalístico pressupõe um fazer educativo. Para compreender como se configura a atuação do jornalista em um projeto de comunicação e educação, o estudo fundamenta-se em teorias relacionadas à Educomunicação, jornalismo e televisão dos seguintes autores: Soares (2011), Baccega (2009) e Martín-Barbero (2014). As informações coletadas foram sistematizadas a partir das entrevistas semi-estruturadas realizadas com jornalistas e editores-chefes das regionais da RPC TV do Paraná. Entre os resultados destaca-se que o envolvimento dos jornalistas no Televisando está associado a novas experiências e a aproximação com a escola; a reportagem do projeto é considerada "especial" por compor uma "série", dentro de uma temática que varia a cada edição e tempo determinado; as reportagens são feitas de acordo com a "escala do dia" e não por afinidade e interesse pessoal; para os jornalistas o desafio da TV nos dias de hoje está em fazer um jornalismo mais agradável-rompendo com os padrões tradicionais da notícia (off, sonora, passagem)-, lidar com o tempo e com a concorrência que as mídias sociais representam
