It is shown that mixing among SU(3) supermultiplets leads to new mass relations. These mass relations could be useful for the interpretation of some experiments and for further particle assignments to SU(3) supermultiplets. In this context, some possibilities are discussed for the 52-, 52+ baryons and 1+ mesons. © 1969 The American Physical Society
