Bibliography: leaves 98-104.The Southern Benguela has, for various reasons, been a focal point for research particularly in recent years. One of the most notable reasons for this interest can he found in the presence of economically viable fish species and their relationship to the process of upwelling. A numerical model of the entire Southern Benguela Region has previously been set up in order to assist furlher studies in the region.
