In recent years, application of the agile concept in the manufacturing sector has been researched extensively to reduce the varying effect of customer demands. However, most of the research work is focused on the shop floor of different manufacturing processes, while issues concerning the control of warehouse scheduling in a supply chain have been neglected so far.
