BACKGROUND: The aim of the present study was to investigate a linkage between nocturnal enuresis (NE), sleep disorders and GHrelease during childhood. METHODS: Were recruited 150 patients aged between 5 and 14 years (102 male and 48 female) (G1) affected by primary monosymptomatic-NEand a control group of 150 children aged between 5 and 14 years (80 male and 70 female) (G2). We administered the Epworth Sleepiness Scale-Child Adolescent (ESS-Chad) to measure the level of daytime sleepiness or average sleep propensity and we collected anthropometric data.
