UJI EFEKTIVITAS SALEP EKSTRAK DAUN SASALADAHAN (Peperomia pellucida (L.) H.B.K) TERHADAP PENYEMBUHAN LUKA SAYAT PADA TIKUS PUTIH (Rattus norvegicus)SEBAGAI SUMBER BELAJAR BIOLOGI

Sasaladahan (Peperomi pellucida (L.) H.B.K) has several active ingredients, namely flavonoids, tannins, saponin, steroids and triterpenoids. Sasaladahan leaves (Peperomi pellucida (L.) H.B.K) have antimicrobial activity that can inhibit Staphylococcus aero bacteria which often infects a wound. A wound is damaged or loss of body system that occurs due to a factor, of which factor interferes with the body's protection system. This research aimed at determining the effectiveness of sasaladahan leaves extract ointment (Peperomia pellucida (L.) H.B.K) toward the incision wound healing in the white rats (Rattus norvegicus). The type of research, that used, was a real experimental research by using The Post-Test Only Control Group Design or the control group post-test. There were 24 male rats in the age of 2-3 months with a weight of 200-300 gr used as the samples, in which these were divided into 6 groups, namely the concentrations of 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, and betadine 10% as the positive controls and without giving the treatment as negative control. The duration of treatment were 2 weeks. The data collection used documentation and the recording of observation results. The results of the observations were analyzed by using a one-way ANOVA test. The results showed that the incision wound healing with the indicators of the average time of erythema loss, wound length, and time of wound closure showed the sasaladahan leaves extract ointment with a concentration of 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%, in which it could accelerate the incision wound healing process. The concentration of 20% was an effective concentration in the incision wound healing process of white rats when it was compared to positive controls (betadine). The results of this research can be used as pharmacognosy teaching materials in semester I of 10th grade of pharmaceutical vocational high school
