The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of prenatal breast-feeding education on a mother\u27s perceived success at breast-feeding. This study also looked at the relationship of prenatal breast-feeding education on a mother\u27s perception of her infant. The conceptual framework utilized was the Roy Adaptation Model. Motherhood and breast-feeding involve a change in role, which is why this theory served as a foundation for the study. The method for study was a quasi-experimental design.
