Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is a multicarrier modulation scheme utilized as a modulation method in high speed wireless and mobile communications systems such as digital subscriber lines, wireless LANs, digital video broadcasting, WiMAX and other emerging wireless broadband systems, including LTE.
