This quantitative study used a factorial design and survey research in order to identify factors related to full-time instructors\u27 curricular and pedagogical choices in the Washington State Community and Technical College System. More specifically, this study answered the question—do selected faculty characteristics relate to faculty members\u27 perspectives on learning and faculty members\u27 selection of course goals and objectives? A three-section survey instrument was mailed to a simple random sample (n = 1,000) of full-time instructors in the Washington State Community and Technical College System (34 institutions).
