Graduation date: 1986The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between career development and locus of control as\ud they relate to barriers encountered in career development.\ud The sample included 144 students in the engineering\ud program at Oregon State University. The Rotter Internal-\ud External Scale and the Career Development Inventory (Form\ud CU) were employed.\ud Analyses included the use of multiple regression\ud models. Correlations were performed to build a table of\ud relationships between variables.
