Graduation date: 1986The purpose of this study is to investigate the\ud attitudes toward mathematics of prospective elementary\ud teachers and their basic understanding of mathematics.\ud Two hundred fourteen subjects, representing prospective teachers from Oregon State University and Western\ud Oregon State College participated in this study.
