Graduation date: 1989The chopper-stabilized operational amplifier has good low\ud frequency noise properties. Unfortunately a simple technique for\ud simulation of the chopper-stabilized operational amplifier has\ud not been available.\ud This thesis describes the implementation of a differential\ud amplifier using chopper stabilization and its circuit modeling\ud for the SPICE simulation. This circuit has been designed using a\ud 3-urn p-well CMOS technology. The chopper amplifier has 89 dB\ud dc gain and an output voltage swing from 0.3V to 12V with a\ud 12V power supply. The equivalent input noise is only 12 nV/√Hz\ud at 1 Hz with 10 nV/√Hz as the thermal noise
