This paper (in Italian) presents estimates on the migration population in Italy by religious affiliation and discusses how the settlement of increasing numbers of people of different religious identity offers new challenges and opportunities to Italian society. In particular, it discusses how these migration trends call for reopening the debate on the meaning of a secular society and on the importance of religious identity in the present age
