Fashion features in coats and suits may appear and disappear but qualities of good constructiondo not change. The well-made tailored garment includes two important components: intefacing to help shape and mold the garment; and tape to define edges. Tailoring is the process using sewing and pressing techniques to mold the fabric, build shape into the garment, and define garment edges.
