Chitinotylenchus is a genus inquirendum or incertae sedis in Anguinidae. The following new synonyms are proposed: Nothotylenchus, Boleodoroides and Orrina synonyms of Ditylenchus; Nothanguina synonym of Anguina; Afrina and Mesoanguina synonyms of Subanguina; and Neoditylenchus synonym of Sychnotylenchus.
