Assessment of possible solutions for intersection of regional road R2-419/1203 and local road LC 295040 in the settlement

Over the years, the traffic load increases and intersections become too small and inadequate, therefore\ud they need to be rearranged. Safety of road users also has a major role in the renovation of intersections. In this thesis I discussed a 3-way intersection of regional and local road in my hometown. The thesis presents a summary of my work which included an analysis of the existing situation that led to the appropriate solution. By analyzing the current situation I found certain problems with the intersection under consideration and based on that I determined guidelines for future problem solving. The existing situation was solved by rearranging the intersection, additional channeling and execution and setting of the roundabout. For both versions of the solutions I checked the traffic load and transparency and showed proper conduct of all participants in the ntersection. Solutions were further substantiated by detailed plans that have also been drawn up
