The focus of this study has been consideration of the implications for state and federal policy of the cumulative environmental, economic, and social impacts associated with the development of Texas lignite resources. Surveying a broad spectrum of related issues and developing recommendations for coping with immediate and long-range ramifications of lignite development, its purpose is to serve as a planning and policy-making aid.Public Affair
