Se hizo un estudio detallado sobre cómo influye la constante cosmológica en el ángulo de deflexión de una lente gravitacional por galaxia. Para ello se desarrolla una de las soluciones de las ecuaciones de campo de Einstein concerniente a la métrica de Schwarzschild, pero esta vez con constante cosmológica y expresada en coordenadas isotrópicas. Se obtiene el índice de refracción y el potencial simétrico, que son parámetros característicos para el estudio de una lente gravitacional.
