International audienceAs part of the design studies of future power andresearch nuclear reactors, the validation of neutron and photoncalculation schemes requires the implementation of nuclear heatingmeasurements. Such measurements are usually performed invery low-power reactors, whose core dimensions are accuratelyknown and where irradiation conditions are entirely controlled.The use of thermoluminescent dosimeters is particularly wellsuited to gamma heating measurements, although the TLDs arealso sensitive to neutrons depending on their composition.
