We present here the typological and archaeometric/petrographic characterisation of the production of the pottery workshop of Henchir Chouggaf, Southern Tunisia, which essentially consists of African amphorae of type Keay 25 dated to the 4th c. AD. Located alongside a wadi, this site could be interpreted as an oasis site playing the role of a station inside a trans-saharian circuit between Fezzan region and the port of Gab\ue8
