The map has for a long time been a tool in many occasions and has help us evolve our geographic knowledge. Every map is only a limited picture of reality and can be presented in different ways through different projections. Many scientists suggest that the teacher's choice of map can have a big impact on the students view of the world. The purpose with this study is to examine how maps can lead to misconceptions among students and how the assortment maps are built upon affect their perception about the world.
