Spring awakening dramaturgy

Spring Awakening, a Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik musical adaption of Frank Wedekind's Expressionistic play was produced at Ball State University in the fall of 2012. The following written work will walk the reader through the process and methodology used for the dramaturgy component of the production of Spring Awakening. This analysis hones in on the specific goals and challenges of the project.
