Charlotte Gould was invited as one of six artists and illustrators to participate in a group show realised by cultural producer Bren Callaghan and Proposed by Harry Hill as part of one of the “Unrealised Potential” exhibits shown at the Cornerhouse in the previous year. Three out of 60 artists projects were chosen by members of the public for realisation. The brief was to recreate George Cruikshank’s the Worship of Bacchus using known alcoholics.
