The author in her article introduces an international project ELOS focused on highly effective teaching and education of pupils and students at basic and secondary schools with the aim to prepare them effectively for the role of active European citizens. The project anticipates the reality of European integration and international relations when applying all rights and duties of EU citizens, predominantly directed to the world of work. The tools used in the project to achieve its goals are observing and evaluating the implementation of European and international school orientation (EIO European and International Orientation) and their specialization.
