Variaciones grafemáticas de los anglicismos en los medios de comunicacion: tendencias y factores condicionantes

The aim of this study is to examine the variation in the morphology and spelling of anglicisms in Spanish, their trends and their linguistic (phonetic, morphological, stylistic) and sociolinguistic conditioning factors. There is also an analysis of the graphematic fluctuations found in the derivatives of some anglicisms (glamouroso / glamoroso, hippismo / hippysmo, lobbysta / lobbista, etc.) which includes the semantic reasons accounting for them. The paper ends by examining the different positions taken by dictionaries with regard to the inclusion of orthographic variants in anglicisms, and the recommendations based on usage that the author makes
