Póster presentado en XIV EuroAnalysis, Antwerp, Belgium, 9-14 September 2007.In this work, a new sample introduction system fully based on MW radiation (MWSIS) has been developed and characterized in ICP-AES. Variables affecting the MWSIS behaviour are: MW power, matrix nature (i.e. acids, salts, organic solvents), sample uptake rate and nozzle diameter. New sample introduction system gives rise to sensitivities and LODs between 10 and 20 times better than a conventional sample introduction system
