Job satisfaction and intention to quit among temporary help employees This is a case study of a large Swedish temporary help agencey. The aim was to describe the specific working conditions of temporary help workers, "temps". Economists (n=98) and office workers (n=159) answered questionnaires and response rate was 53%. Economists and office workers differed mostly with regard to demographic variables. Further, office workers experienced both a higher level of working load and more symptoms of ill-health than economists. Being voluntary versus involuntary as a temp had a vital significance for work satisfaction, feeling of security and symptoms of ill-health.
