This brings together papers from the public symposia hosted by the research cluster, Critical Interventions and Curatorial Practices held at Canterbury and at The Place, London during 2004 and 2005. Contributions by artists, curators, academics and writers examine the varied perspectives of curating and address issues of curating dance, arts and science collaborations, film, video, writing, electronic arts and photography, and reveal the concept of curating and the role of the curator to be complex fields of enquiry
