This collection includes audio recordings and transcripts of interviews with Asian Americans native to or living in Houston.Mrs. Vibhuti Shah was born in Bombay, India in 1945. In India she received her Masters in Microbiology and Biochemistry, and after coming to America in 1970 she started using her medical technology degree to work in a lab. After moving around throughout the US, she and her husband settled in Houston where they have been ever since 1979.
