This research aimed to know how the implementation of teaching “throwing snowball” game can foster students‟ self esteem to speak English. This research used classroom action research (CAR) and conduct in one cycle. The subjects of this research were the seventh year students, class A at MTs Salafiyah Syafiiyah Bandung Diwek Jombang. There were two instruments that the researcher used, they are observation and test. The data of this research were students‟ score and observation data. The score was taken from achievement test after implementing snowball throwing game. It could showed from the number of students‟ who achieve minimum passing grade (KKM), 70.
