This work proposes a strategy of connection to the electric network of an induction generator with a squirrel cage rotor coupled to a cylindrical flywheel of high inertial content as a kinetic energy storage technique. This will be converted into electrical energy seeking solutions to mitigate the effects of current transients and energy quality in the injection of the voltage generated to the grid. Thus, it is presented the mathematical model of the three-phase induction motor, as well as the induction generator model used for simulations of its dynamic behavior.
