Transparent glasses of $BaNaB_9O_{15}$ (BNBO) were fabricated via the conventional melt-quenching technique. X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) carried out on the as-quenched samples confirmed their amorphous and glassy nature, respectively. Nonisothermal crystallization processes in BNBO glasses before and after ultrasonic surface treatment (UST) with suspension of BNBO particles in acetone medium have been investigated using DSC.
